| Introduction
Due to the maturity of Internet technologies and ever-increasing growth
of wireless networks, the demand for skilled networking and communication
engineers are extraordinary large in both the industry and academy. To
response to this trend, the Graduate Institute of Networking and
Communication Engineering was established in Summer 2002.
Concentrating on the computer networking management and the application and
integration of communication engineering, the Graduate Institute of Networking and
Communication Engineering is dedicated to its curriculum with equal emphasis
on theory and practice. Through research and joint projects with either the
industry or academy, the students learn the professional discipline and the
ability of finding, formulating, and solving problems.
The institute receives the research grants from the industrial contracts,
government agencies, and various research centers. The current research
